HTC produces Smartphone, Pocket PC and Ultra Mobile Phones all based on Windows Operating System from Microsoft. The recent trend in the mobile world is the Touch technology. Hence HTC also decided to exploit the market and produced many innovative Touch mobiles like Touch, Touch Cruise, Touch Diamond, Touch Pro and many more. All these phone differ in technology used processing power and customers targeted. In this series HTC Touch Diamond and HTC Touch Pro almost looks similar. HTC Touch Diamond is a candy bar form factor mobile targeted at general customers whereas HTC Touch Pro is targeted at the business class customers.

HTC Touch Pro is a slider model mobile with almost all the functionalities and features of the HTC Diamond, but in addition it has a slide able QWERTY keyboard which is very necessary for the business class customers who needs to edit the documents, send emails and lots more using their mobile hence the onscreen small keyboard can't satisfy their needs. As far as design and style is considered HTC Touch Pro can challenge all the mobiles available in the market. It looks very glossy and glittering. The navigation panel itself is touch sensitive and contains various controls, which changes according to the context in which it is used. The QWERTY keyboard looks very spacious and has large keys which enable you to use the keyboard as if you are using the keyboard of a PC or laptop.

The dimensions of HTC Touch Pro are 102 x 51 x 18.1 mm and weigh around 165 grams which is somewhat heavier than its counter part because of the keyboard and other optimizations. HTC Touch Pro is available only in shining black colour.

HTC Touch Pro has a large 2.8 inches wide TFT touch screen which can display 65 thousand colours at a maximum resolution of 480 x 640 pixels. It has an accelerometer sensor which auto rotates the screen orientation toggling between horizontal and vertical mode based on the rotation speed and degree made by the user. This mobile is loaded with Handwriting recognition in case if you are bored using the physical and onscreen keyboard then start writing on the screen as you write on a paper. It also features Touch FLO 3D finger swipe navigation and much more.

This phone has a powerful 3.15 Mega pixel camera which can capture images at a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. The camera also features autofocus and flash to help you capture great shots with ease and perfection. You can also use this camera to record videos. This phone has a secondary VGA video call camera which can be used to make video calls to your business partners or clients.

This phone is powered by Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 professional, which runs on Qualcomm MSM7201A 528 MHz processor. This processor uses 288 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM for its processing needs which is much higher than the Touch Diamond. So, that it can process your business tasks much faster.

This phone can operate in both second and third generation networks but it roaming facility is somewhat limited because it is available in two flavours one is for US customers and the other one is for rest of the world hence decide which one you need based on your business needs. This phone is well connected to the internet and other compatible devices using all the data transfer technology available for mobile phones with a maximum download speed of 7.2 Mbps.

It does have all the standard features of the mobile including GPS receiver, TV out, Pocket Office, FM radio, MP3 player and much more.
