Final Fantasy XIII For PSP III..

Posted by loudfrogs On 1:06 PM

At long last, the day we have all been waiting for has arrived. It gives me great pleasure to unveil this today. Square Enix didn't have its annual party this spring, but it'll invite hundreds of its Japanese fans to sample its latest products later this year. In early August, 2,400 of the RPG maker's most devoted fans will gather in Harajuku to watch trailers of and even play some of the upcoming Square Enix releases. While Final Fantasy XIII, above, is likely the most anticipated of the lineup, there will be several more games shown off.

All three of the Kingdom Hearts titles that were shown at Tokyo Game Show last year will be back: Kingdom Hearts Coded for mobile phones, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days for Nintendo DS, and Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep for PSP. Also in attendance for hand held platforms are The 3rd Birthday (a Parasite Eve followup for mobile phones), Sigma Harmonics for Nintendo DS, and Dissidia Final Fantasy for PSP.

A mysterious – and hugely impressive – video trailer showed the title in its full glory, with a female and male protagonist who have been marked by the fateful 'cie' – making them destined for greatness. Finally, the long-overdue trio of announced projects in the Final Fantasy XIII series will be trotted out once more. I would caution everyone against getting your hopes up that this event will be the sort of massive blowout that these games haven't had since being announced two years ago. With Tokyo Game Show a mere two months after this event, this will be more of a teaser — although maybe, just maybe, we'll see some actual gameplay footage for the first time.Source [TecheBlog]
